MOS officially opened in Celje


The 52nd International Entrepreneurship Fair - MOS was organized in Celje, Slovenia from 10 to 15 September 2019.

Montenegro was a partner country of this very significant event, bringing together more than 1,500 exhibitors from 34 countries and attracting over 100,000 visitors. Forty Montenegrin exhibitors, dealing with agriculture and food industry, tourism, energy, metal processing, transport and other fields, as well as institutions, presented their products and services. Their participation was organized by the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Tourism and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Culture, the NTO and the Investment and Development Fund (IRF). Participation in MOS provided the quality presentation of products, new business contacts, the better positioning of Montenegrin brands and the possibility of export growth.

The Minister of Economy Dragica Sekulić and the President of the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro Vlastimir Golubović opened the fair. The Montenegrin Ambassador to Ljubljana Vujica Lazović and Honorary Consul of Montenegro to Slovenia Vojislav Kovač attended the fair opening.

Entrepreneurship Fair in Celje was divided into five segments: MOS Dom (construction and renovation), MOS Technique (craft and industrial equipment and materials), MOS Tur (tourism and food, camping equipment), MOS Biz (business services and business opportunities abroad) and MOS Plus (consumption products).

The event was accompanied by various lectures, events and workshops. An international business forum of our country, Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia, Montenegrin presentation of potentials and bilateral meetings, days of agriculture, investment, entrepreneurship and tourism of Montenegro, as well as visits to companies of the host country were organized within the Fair.

Montenegro-Slovenia Business Forum

During the Days of Montenegro in Slovenia, the chambers of the two countries organized business forum, attended by representatives of the business communities, governments and chambers of commerce.

Although foreign trade in 2018 amounted to EUR 85 million, there are plenty of opportunities for improving cooperation between Montenegro and Slovenia, especially in tourism, agriculture, development of infrastructure projects, IT services, energy, wood processing, it was estimated during the Business Forum of the two countries which took place in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.
